Cider Casino is operated by Hong Kong-based Mystic Mirror Studio Limited, with U.S. payment processing handled by Denver-registered Aevorix Play Inc., and opened in November 2025. The platform is available in the majority of U.S. states, with access restricted in California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Washington. The library runs to several hundred casino-style games, weighted toward Hold and Win slots, fish shooter titles, and a modest table game selection, with the site listing providers such as 3 Oaks Gaming, Kendoo, TaDa Gaming, RubyPlay, Playson, and ReelPlay. Dedicated iOS and Android apps sit alongside the browser version. Gold Coin packages start at $2.00, and Sweeps Coin redemptions are processed by ACH bank transfer or PayPal with a 100 SC minimum.
Cider's overall Trustpilot standing is still solid for a site less than a year old, with the majority of lifetime reviewers awarding five stars for game variety and quick early payouts. The recent picture is different. Reviews from late August and early September 2026 run heavily one-star, and they describe the same sequence over and over: a redemption request is denied or returned, the account is frozen or permanently closed, and the stated reason is a second account or a security finding the player is never shown. Several reviewers report support closing the chat without answering. The support team also responds to only a minority of negative reviews. An independent review outlet scored Cider in the mid-70s out of 100 earlier in 2026, before this turn.
Cider launched in November 2025 and spent its first several months building a good reputation on payout speed, which is what earned it a strong early grade. Mystic Mirror Studio Limited had no prior sweepstakes history we could identify, and Cider is the company's only brand on our books. What has changed since July 2026 is how the operator handles disputes. SweepsGuard wrote to Cider's support address three times about player cases between June and July 2026; one case was paid after our outreach, and the other two closed with no reply at all. Then, in late August and early September 2026, both Trustpilot and our own inbox began carrying the same story: a rejected redemption followed by a permanent closure citing security or a duplicate account, with no evidence offered and a promise to refund any remaining balance.
Cider moved down from its previous grade on September 3, 2026. Three complaints are on file. Case #96 (June 2026, verification blocked because Canada was missing from the KYC country list) closed Unresolved, No Response. Case #152 (July 2026, a $91 redemption stuck for two weeks) was paid in full five days after SweepsGuard raised it. Case #196 (July 2026, a $534.36 redemption marked completed that never arrived) closed Unresolved, No Response on July 29. On September 3, 2026 a player reported directly to SweepsGuard that Cider had removed a weekly promotion from their account, rejected a redemption a few days earlier, and then permanently closed the account citing activity "outside our security and compliance standards", with no specifics and a promise to refund any balance. The same player received a near-identical closure notice from Lavish Luck 24 minutes earlier. Recent Trustpilot reviews describe the same sequence. What would move this grade back up: Cider telling closed players what was actually found, paying the refunds it has promised, and answering mediation requests. Until then, players should redeem early rather than build a balance, keep records of every support chat, and expect that a large redemption may trigger an account review.
