Betzy Review & Grade Report

Grade: C

Is Betzy legit?

Betzy is a real, operating sweepstakes casino, but its record is mixed. SweepsGuard grades it C based on player complaints, operator conduct, and redemption reliability. That grade is our independent assessment, not a guarantee — read the site's own sweepstakes rules and check its complaint history before you deposit.

Overview

Betzy (Betzy.fun) is a newly launched sweepstakes platform that pairs a social casino with a social sportsbook, running on the standard dual-currency model — Gold Coins for free play and Sweep Coins (SC) redeemable for prizes. The terms carry an effective date of March 16, 2026. As of August 27, 2026 the terms name Texwal LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, as the operator, and separately disclose a Texas trading address held on file with payment partners. An earlier version of the terms named a Delaware corporation said to be registered in Costa Rica; that wording has been replaced.

Player Reception

There is no reliable public sentiment to draw from. Betzy has not been covered by independent reviewers and has no presence on the major sweepstakes directories. Its Trustpilot profile has been removed by Trustpilot for a guidelines breach — an enforcement action we treat as the absence of a trustworthy public score and a review-integrity concern in its own right, not a neutral data gap. This is the single largest thing standing between Betzy and a higher grade.

Current Highlights

  • Low 1x Sweep Coin playthrough before redemption eligibility — favorable relative to the broader market.
  • Combined social casino and social sportsbook under one account, with games drawn from multiple providers.
  • Daily bonus and a refer-a-friend program advertising up to 100 free SC.
  • A published mail-in entry route with a real address, and separate compliance and responsible-play contact addresses.

Areas to Watch

  • The removed Trustpilot listing, which leaves no independent public record of how players are treated.
  • Over-broad eligibility on paper. As of our August 27, 2026 re-check the terms bar only Washington, Idaho and Nevada outright and withhold redemption from Michigan, while claiming availability across the remaining states despite statutory or de facto sweeps exposure in several of them. We apply our own precautionary restricted-state list rather than the site's.
  • The advertised mail-in route awards one Sweeps Coin per request, which is functional but thin next to operators that award more.
  • Redemption thresholds tied to deposit history and tier status, referencing minimum deposits but no clearly stated cash-out minimum — a structure that can pressure players toward purchases.
  • A short public track record. One mediated complaint, however well handled, is not yet a pattern.

Track Record

Thin, but no longer empty, and what exists is better than expected. SweepsGuard mediated its first Betzy complaint in August 2026, over 68.09 SC voided from a player's balance after a cashout. Betzy initially gave three different explanations, then withdrew two of them as incorrect and narrowed to one ground, citing Section 7 of their published Withdrawal Policy. We read Section 7 and put to them that it did not authorize the void. They did not defend the citation. They withdrew it, credited the coins back in full on August 20, 2026, and told us the withdrawal policy was being rewritten so the wording matched practice.

Withdrawing an incorrect citation rather than repeating it is rare in this space, and an operator that pays inside a week without being pushed to a deadline is behaving better than most. One case is not a track record, but it is a data point in the right direction.

SweepsGuard Status

Update (Aug 27, 2026): Moved up a grade. A full re-read of the published terms found the paperwork faults that had been driving the earlier grade are now corrected. The sweepstakes rules and terms are fully drafted with no template placeholders left in them. A working mail-in entry route is published, with a real Wyoming address and a stated award of one Sweeps Coin per handwritten request, one request per envelope and no cap on envelopes. The operating entity is named as a Wyoming LLC with a disclosed trading address. Minimum age reads consistently. Four separate contact routes are published, including dedicated compliance and responsible-play addresses. Tax reporting terms are specific.

What keeps Betzy from moving higher again is the removed Trustpilot listing, followed by the restricted-state list and a track record still one case deep. A site cannot be assessed on how it treats players when the main independent record of that has been taken down for a guidelines breach. Resolve that and keep the complaint record clean, and there is a route to a higher grade in time.

Update (Aug 21, 2026): the first complaint we mediated against Betzy closed in the player's favor. They corrected their own position twice when shown it was wrong, restored the balance in full, and committed to rewriting the policy clause that had been cited in error. On the one occasion a player needed them to answer, they answered and then paid.
