Is UpUp Casino legit?

UpUp Casino is a real, operating sweepstakes casino, but SweepsGuard has not finished grading it yet. We are still gathering player complaints and redemption evidence, so treat it cautiously and keep balances small until a grade is published.

Overview

UpUp Casino opened to US players in mid-July 2026 with an unusually strong game shelf and an unusually thin paper trail. The site runs the familiar dual-currency model, Gold Coins for social play and Sweeps Coins redeemable at US$1 each, across a library drawing on more than thirty studios including several that most sweepstakes sites never get access to. Its legal documents are published openly and readable without an account, which is more than many new arrivals manage. What they still never do is name anyone: across the Sweepstakes Rules, Terms, Rewards Policy and Privacy Policy the operator appears only as "UpUp Casino", "the Company" or "the Sponsor/Promoter", with no legal entity, no corporate address and no governing-law clause. Entry is limited to US residents aged 21 or older, higher than the usual 18, with sixteen states excluded and no Canadian eligibility. There is still no alternate method of entry published: the rules list four ways to obtain Sweeps Coins, a daily wheel spin, bonus coins bundled with Gold Coin purchases, occasional campaigns, and referrals, and only the daily spin is genuinely free of a purchase somewhere in the chain.

Player Reception

There is essentially nothing to read yet. The brand holds a Trustpilot profile, but it is unclaimed and carries no reviews at all. A search across the main sweepstakes and gambling communities returned no discussion of the site under any spelling of its name, with a control search in the same batch returning results normally. For a site this new that silence is expected rather than alarming, but it does mean there is no independent evidence on the question that matters most: whether redemptions actually get paid.

Current Highlights

• The operator engages properly with scrutiny. We put five questions to UpUp about its rules and had a full, point-by-point answer from a named manager within two days, conceding every point rather than arguing any of them. That is not the norm, and it is the single most encouraging thing about this listing.
• They act on what they are told. We flagged that Indiana and Maine were missing from the excluded-state list; both have since been added to the published rules and registration blocked accordingly. They also redesigned the cashier so package tiles show the total Sweeps Coins included rather than splitting base and bonus.
• An advertised game library well above the norm for a new sweepstakes brand, with tier-one studios named on the site itself.
• Standard playthrough is stated at 1x, the most player-friendly rate in the category.
• The restricted-state list matches between the Sweepstakes Rules and the Terms, so there is no gap between who may play and who may cash out, a mismatch we find often enough that its absence is worth noting.

Areas to Watch

• No alternate method of entry is published anywhere in the rules. The operator has told us one exists and that the rules are being rewritten to describe it, but as things stand the daily wheel spin, which the Rewards Policy says may award Gold Coins only, is the sole purchase-free path toward a $50 minimum redemption.
• The operator is still not identified in any document. We are told the business is mid-transition to a new operating entity and that the paperwork will be updated once that completes. Until it does, a player has no named counterparty if something goes wrong.
• The rules reserve the right to raise the playthrough requirement from 1x to as much as 30x at the operator's sole discretion. We are told this is meant only for exceptional promotional credits rather than ordinary play, and that the wording will be clarified, but the clause as published is a wide discretionary power over money a player already considers theirs.
• Redemptions are stated to be paid to the financial account used to purchase Gold Coins, with a nominated bank account as the alternative. No method list, processing time or payout partner is published, so speed is entirely unknown, and the wording implies extra friction for anyone who has never bought a package.
• The free sign-up award is not stated in any published document. We recorded it at one figure on listing and corrected it downward after a player reported receiving less. An unstated no-deposit award can be varied at any time without a player being able to check it against anything.
• Verification may require a Social Security or taxpayer number in addition to photo ID and proof of payment method.
• The Terms carry boilerplate stating the platform awards no cash prizes, which contradicts the Sweepstakes Rules outright. We read that as a social-casino template left in place rather than a statement of intent, but that kind of drift is what disputes get built on.
• Formal complaints carry a stated 10-business-day response window and a 30-day informal period before arbitration, which is slow if a redemption is stuck.

Track Record

None yet. The site has been open to US players for about a month. We have received no complaints about it, seen no player-reported redemptions, and found no third-party payout accounts. What we do have is a short but good record of the operator answering questions and fixing what it is shown, which counts for something even though it is not the same thing as paying players.

SweepsGuard Status

UpUp stays under review, and in this case that is a deliberate choice rather than a holding pattern. The operator has told us that an alternate entry route is being written into the rules and that the business is moving to a new named operating entity within weeks. Both of those change the things a grade is actually built from, so assessing the site today would mean judging a version of it that is about to be replaced. We would rather wait and grade what players will actually encounter. When the free entry route is published and the operating company is named in the terms, we will do a full assessment. In the meantime, anyone trying the site early should keep balances modest, redeem as soon as they clear the $50 minimum rather than letting a balance accumulate, log in at least monthly so their Sweeps Coins do not expire, and keep records of gameplay and support contact.
