Is SpinVault legit?

SpinVault is a real, operating sweepstakes casino, but SweepsGuard has not finished grading it yet. We are still gathering player complaints and redemption evidence, so treat it cautiously and keep balances small until a grade is published.

Overview

SpinVault has stopped taking play, and the operator says it will be in touch about outstanding balances. As of September 14, 2026 every page of the site returns the same short notice and nothing else:

"SpinVault is temporarily unavailable and play is paused. If you have a balance with us, we will be in touch about your payout." The only contact given is admin@playspinvault.com.

We are not recording this as a closure. The operator has described it as temporary and has publicly acknowledged that balances are owed, which is more than many sites manage on the way out, and we do not mark a site closed without independent corroboration. What we can say is that the site is not merely gated. Every path we tried, including the homepage, the rules, the terms, the support page, the signup and login routes and a deliberately nonsensical URL, returns a byte-for-byte identical page containing no scripts at all. There is no lobby sitting behind it. The page also carries an instruction to search engines not to index it.

When it was running, SpinVault presented a complete and competently built sweepstakes front end with one thing conspicuously missing: any indication of who ran it. No company name, registration number or address appeared in the terms, the privacy policy, the official rules, the support page or the footer, and the rules referred throughout to "the Sponsor" without ever naming one. That is still true. The currency model was conventional, with SpinCoins as the purchasable play currency and Sweeps Cash redeemable at one dollar per unit, carrying a single playthrough. Play was restricted to 21 and over, and eligibility was published as an allowlist of twenty-four states rather than the usual list of exclusions.

Player Reception

Nothing has been published about SpinVault by anyone, before or since. It has no Trustpilot profile. Searches across the sweepstakes and gambling communities returned nothing on either the brand name or the domain, while control queries for established brands returned full result pages in the same batch. There is no app on either store, and the site has never been captured by the public web archive. Critically, that means no player has publicly reported an unpaid balance — but it equally means no player has reported being paid, and the absence of complaints here reflects how little-known the site was rather than how it has behaved.

Two things circulating online are not about this site and should not be mistaken for it. A domain closely matching the brand name carries what looks like a review page still advertising SpinVault with recent winners; it is a third-party affiliate page on a shared template, not the operator. And a permanent shutdown notice circulating under a similar name belongs to a different company entirely.

Current Highlights

Areas to Watch

If you are holding a balance, act on it now rather than waiting to be contacted. Write to admin@playspinvault.com, state the amount and any redemption you had pending, and keep a copy. Then file a report with us so it is on the record, even if the operator responds.
No operating company is identified anywhere, which was the largest problem with this site when it was running and is a much larger one now that there are balances outstanding. A player with a dispute has no named counterparty, no registered address and no jurisdiction.
The postal free-entry route could never be followed as written: the rules directed mail-in requests to a mailing address published on the support page, and no address ever appeared there.
The site described its outcomes as provably fair and governed by certified game math, but named no testing laboratory or certifying body.
Account registration was already failing before the site went dark, so the cashier, package pricing, redemption minimum and redemption methods were never verifiable by us or by anyone else.

Track Record

Four weeks, and nothing observed. We were never able to create an account, no player report of this site exists anywhere we can search, and no complaint has reached us. The rules carried August 2026 revision dates, consistent with a site that launched immediately before it stopped. What we could establish about the operator:

The brand was about four weeks old. The domain was registered on August 17, 2026 and the site was dark by mid-September.
It had a predecessor. A second domain registered two weeks earlier now redirects every path to SpinVault, and a single certificate issued in August covers both names together. The maintenance page's payout contact address forwards to that earlier brand.
The payment hostnames have been removed from the internet. Both brands ran a dedicated cashier subdomain, each with its own certificate. Neither resolves any more. A site pausing temporarily does not usually delete the address its payments ran through, and this is the detail that most concerns us.
The operator is still unidentified. Domain registration is privacy-shielded on both names, and the only business infrastructure we could trace is a mail tenant carrying no company name. There is no entity to contact beyond the address on the notice.

SweepsGuard Status

SpinVault stays under review, and the status now means something different from what it meant two weeks ago. It was under review because we could not establish who ran it or get far enough into the product to test anything. It is under review now because the product has stopped and the operator has publicly said money is owed.

We are deliberately not recording this as a closure. Both signals pointing that way come from the operator's own infrastructure, and our standard for marking a site closed requires independent corroboration, which does not exist here. A site that pauses, pays people and comes back is a real possibility and we would rather be slow than wrong about it.

What would settle it: the operator paying the balances it has acknowledged, or failing to. If you are owed money by SpinVault, tell us, because at the moment nobody outside the company knows whether anyone is being paid. That is the single piece of evidence this page is missing, and one player report would be worth more than everything else on it.
