Loyal Royal Review & Grade Report

Grade: closed

Overview

Loyal Royal (also styled Loyal Royals) was a sweepstakes casino launched in 2022 and operated by JBC Investments LLC, a Georgia-based U.S. company. It shut down at the end of 2024 — disappearing essentially overnight with no public statement to players — and the operator subsequently relaunched under a new name, Ruby Sweeps, which is still active today and carries its own separate SweepsGuard review.

Player Reception

Reception was poor throughout. Players flagged an unusually small game library (around 17 slots and video poker titles that never expanded) and, most notably, a requirement to provide a Social Security number at registration before any play — atypical for social and sweeps casinos, and a deterrent for many users. Redemptions were widely described as slow and needlessly multi-step, and the brand carried payment-processing problems and predatory wagering requirements that dogged its reputation.

Strengths

  • Operated under a named U.S. company (JBC Investments LLC) rather than an anonymous offshore shell, and the operation continued through the Ruby Sweeps rebrand rather than the operator vanishing with player funds.

Major Issues

  • Disappeared without notice: the original Loyal Royal shut down overnight at the end of 2024 with no public statement, leaving players without warning.
  • SSN at registration: required a Social Security number up front just to sign up — an unusual and off-putting demand for a sweeps casino.
  • Redemption friction: a slow, multi-step cash-out process and a history of payment-processing issues.
  • Predatory wagering: high, onerous playthrough requirements criticized across reviews.

Track Record

Loyal Royal built a weak track record marked by verification friction, payout difficulty, and an abrupt disappearance — a reputation the successor Ruby Sweeps has had to work to overcome.

SweepsGuard Status

Closed. Loyal Royal ceased operating under that name at the end of 2024 and now exists as the rebranded Ruby Sweeps, which is reviewed separately on SweepsGuard. This report is retained as a historical record. Any old Loyal Royal balance is effectively gone; players interested in the current operation should consult our Ruby Sweeps review rather than relying on the defunct Loyal Royal brand.
