Is Lagoon.bet legit?

Lagoon.bet is a real, operating sweepstakes casino, but its record is mixed. SweepsGuard grades it C based on player complaints, operator conduct, and redemption reliability. Overview

Lagoon.bet is a dual-currency sweepstakes casino that runs entirely on cryptocurrency. Gold Coin purchases and prize redemptions both go through crypto (currently Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON, USDT and USDC), and there is no card or bank option in either direction. Every game is built in-house: slots, crash, plinko, dice, table games and poker. Outcomes run on a provably fair seed system that a player can check round by round on a public verification page.

Undercurrent Holdings LLC operates the brand and prints its Wisconsin registration number in the terms. We confirmed the company is active in the state registry. Redemptions start at 100 Sweeps Coins, one request per 24 hours, after photo ID and proof of address. Approved payouts go to the player's own wallet within one to three business days, less a fixed processing fee shown before you confirm. Since October 9 that fee is 1 SC on Bitcoin and 1.5 SC on Ethereum, and redemptions over TRX, Solana or BSC are free. Play is open to adults 21 and over outside twenty-one excluded states. Oklahoma is being withdrawn in stages, with redemptions open there until December 1, 2026. Canadian players are not accepted.

Player Reception

There is still very little independent feedback, which fits a site that opened in August. The Trustpilot profile is now claimed and carries only a few reviews, with mixed sentiment. One reviewer calls it a favorite. Two others criticize the small game library and the lack of any outside game providers, and the operator replied to both. Nobody there reports a payment problem.

More useful is a report sent straight to us. In September a player with a long history of reporting to SweepsGuard about other sites told us they won $130 from their signup bonus and were paid out in crypto right away, with no caps. That is one player, but it is an independent account of the cashout working, and it lines up with what the operator's own records show. We have received no complaints about Lagoon.bet.

Strengths

  • A company you can actually check. The terms name Undercurrent Holdings LLC with its Wisconsin entity number, and that number matches an active record in the state's registry. A lot of this category names an offshore shell or nobody at all.
  • Payouts look fast. A player reported being paid right away, and a ledger the operator gave us covering 21 redemptions in one day showed all of them paid, with a median of about 14 minutes from request to on-chain confirmation. We checked three transactions from that ledger on the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains, and all three confirmed on September 19.
  • Rules changes are applied going forward. When playthrough went up in September, coins already credited kept the old terms and wagers already placed counted at the old rate. The Oklahoma exit is published in dated stages, with a commitment not to close the redemption window early.
  • The terms set no ceiling on redemption size, and a declined request does not use up the one-per-day limit.
  • Players can opt out of arbitration and the class-action waiver in writing within thirty days of opening an account, which most sweepstakes terms don't allow.
  • The mail-in route pays 5 Sweeps Coins per accepted card, more than most postal entries in this category.

Major Issues

  • Crypto is the only way out. A player without a wallet can't take winnings off the site at all, Fees are small, though: the operator covers network costs, and some routes are free.
  • The playthrough is heavy once you look at how games count. Purchased Sweeps Coins need 3x and bonus coins need 5x, already above most of the category. Only slots and poker count in full. Baccarat, Crash, Plinko and Roulette count at 20%, Blackjack at 10%, and everything else against the house at 50%. Clearing bonus coins on Blackjack takes fifty times the bonus in wagers.
  • No outside check on the games. Every title is the operator's own, no independent lab certifies outcomes, and nobody outside the company has tested them. Return-to-player figures have been published in each game's rules and the FAQ since October 9, but they are the operator's own numbers. Round-by-round verification helps, but it isn't the same as outside testing of the games as a whole.

Minor Issues

  • The payout record is short. The site opened in August 2026 and the company was formed in May 2026, so there are only a couple of months of history behind it.
  • Until an account has made a purchase, Sweeps Coin play is capped at 0.10 SC per round, which makes clearing a 5x requirement on free coins slow.
  • Twenty-one states are excluded, more than most sites bar, and using a VPN can void a balance outright.
  • No street address appears anywhere. The terms give a Madison post office box, and the state registry lists only a registered agent.
  • Support is email, a ticket form and Discord. There is no live chat.

Track Record

Lagoon.bet has been live for about two and a half months. In that time it has revised its terms twice, both times with notice and without taking anything away from players who had already signed up. The current terms are dated October 13, 2026. We have one independent report of a completed cashout, the operator's own one-day ledger of 21 paid redemptions, and no complaints. When we asked the operator questions in September it answered them directly, including the ones that didn't flatter it: no lab certification, no outside game suppliers, crypto only, and no plan to publish a street address.
